The Community Livelihood Enhancement and Resilience (CLEAR) Project has financed 306 climate-resilient infrastructure works across 230 target villages as part of its Batch I rollout. One of the project’s premier achievements is the construction of a reinforced concrete causeway across the Nga River, realized through a collaborative and co-funded partnership between the villages of Ban Houayleum and Ban Poung, Nga District, Oudomxay Province. 90% of Construction progress at the end of May 2026.

Expected Benefits:
Once completed, this bridge will bring immense benefits to the residents of both villages:
- Ban Houayleum: Villagers will have much easier access to their agricultural production areas on the other side of the Nga River.
- Ban Poung: Residents will be able to cross the Nga River to reach the district municipality more easily, facilitating access to the market, the hospital, and most importantly, making it easier and safer for children to go to school.
This project truly demonstrates the power of community solidarity in local development.
