Goat Dairy
Representatives from 43 participating families received training on goat raising, milking, and cassava leaf fermentation at the Lao Buffalo Dairy farm in Luang Prabang province.
Goat milking will begin from January to May 2026
The goat dairy activity has the following main objectives: to diversify the diet of children aged 6 – 23 months by adding new food items containing milk ingredients and to provide goat milk to community nutrition groups as an ingredient in recipes.
Implementation began in December 2025 in 4 villages of Pak Beng District and 6 villages of Nga District, Oudomxay Province, with 43 families participating.
